  • Goodwinol "Out Dam Spot" Stain Remover & Deodorizer

    Use straight, not diluted.  counteracts smoke, mildew, algae, fungus, and bacteria odors.

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Always pre-test fabric for color-fastness in an inconspicuous spot (closet corner or back side of upholstered piece).
    2. Apply generously to an area 3 times larger than the stain. Gently brush or sponge into the fabric. Allow to set and work for 15-20 minutes, then blot dry with a clean white absorbent cloth towel. A second or third application may be necessary for extra strong odors or hard to remove stains.
    3. Lightly sprinkle water on area where Out Dam Spot was applied to neutralize chemical. Then remove water and excess chemical with a sponge or white cloth. Repeat.
    4. Allow spot to air dry while remaining Out Dam Spot continues to neutralize odor.
    5. Gently brush fabric when dry to fluff up fibers.

    NOTE: If odor is still present after 2 or 3 days it may be necessary to re-apply Out Dam Spot. Allow to set for 15-20 minutes and extract using a carpet cleaning machine or wet-vac.

    CLOTHING

    1. Always pre-test fabric for color-fastness in an inconspicuous spot before using.
    2. Apply Out Dam Spot directly to stained area. Allow to set and work for 3-5 minutes.
    3. In sink, rinse Out Dam Spot out of fabric with cool fresh water.
    4. Wash as usual with detergent.

    NOTE:  Out Dam Spot will not replace dyes in previously bleached out fabrics.

    CAUTION: DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY.  EYE IRRITANT.  AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES.

    FIRST AID: EYES - Flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
